Youngevity has launched a new social selling website designed to improve both the distributor and customer experience. The company’s recent success has given them the opportunity to test out new marketing strategies. The new platform could prove to be a game changer as the company strives to stay innovative.
The website, available in both English and Spanish, includes new business-building features, such as online event creation, along with improved search functionality and localized international pricing. The site enables a mobile responsive user experience, fast and effective launches in new markets and reduced maintenance efforts.
Youngevity launched social selling with a pilot program in 2017 which exceeded expectations delivering $4 million dollars of organic revenue over the course of the program. The new platform is being launched across six countries including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. The company anticipates this new selling system will allow them to reach new markets as Youngevity attempts to expand their marketing systems. Youngevity hopes to capitalize on the popularity of their brand name by opening up this new site.
“Social selling has become an increasingly popular marketing tool that leverages various social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram and other forms of media,” said Youngevity President and CFO Dave Briskie. “This launch is an important benchmark in our overall business strategy. We anticipate that this platform will contribute to our organic growth in 2018 and beyond. We are forecasting hundreds of online socials selling events to take place each month.”
The test market last year came out as a success and now the company is ready to go full throttle. Distributors of Youngevity should take this news with a newfound motivation to use it towards their advantage. Many MLM companies do not allow for advertisements through social media outlets and instead reallocate those same dollars to the distributors. However, Youngevity has come up with a system that will generate new sales while still allowing the distributors to be compensated for social sales.
The company believes this will become a huge market for them and anticipate social sales to double what they did last year. We will see more and more companies move to this form of selling as advertising through social media becomes the norm. Times are changing and it’s good to see companies keeping up with the trends. Just one more outlet for those distributors to find a way of selling that works for them. Good work Youngevity.
