“Close your eyes and imagine the best version of you possible. That’s who you really are, let go of any part of you that doesn’t believe it.” – C. Assaad
Just reading something that is inspiring sometimes does not resonate with us in the way it should. I challenge you to take a couple minutes, re-read the quote above, literally close your eyes, and truly imagine the best version of you right now…
There is a lot of power in honestly envisioning where we would like to be. If you are like me, there are probably things you would like to change, add, or subtract from your life; that is perfectly fine! Let me tell you a secret… No one is where they would like themselves to be yet.
This is also an independent exercise, nobody can tell you what this “best” version of you looks like. You know what you are capable of. Now is the time to be completely frank with yourself. Once you have this image in your head, use it as a marker for the what you are going to strive towards. Yes, I said marker, this version of you will not be the end goal. When you hit this milestone, you will have a realization; your eyes will be open to your true potential and your aspirations will extend even further.
This exercise should also include visualizing the hindrances in our way. To remove the baggage from your life, you need to clearly define it first. The craziness of life often fogs our minds and hides what would otherwise be evident. It can be hard to let go of the interferences, but regret will be even tougher.
Use this practice of meditation each morning to re-calibrate your mind. Decisively continue to move towards the best version of you!
