Do I know how to effectively set goals?
Have you done research on best practices to use when writing out your goals? If you haven’t, you need to. We will be covering this information in upcoming articles but it is vital that you learn the most efficient and intelligent way to map out your goals.
Why do I want to accomplish this?
This is probably the most important question to ask yourself. What motivates you? What is going to keep you going when you want to quit? Once you find your “Why,” many of the other pieces will fall into place. I use what I call a Dreamboard. This is simply a collage of pictures on my wall that remind me every day what it is that DRIVES me.
Take some time and answer these questions honestly. The stars do not need to align before you can begin to work towards your goals, these are just some good questions to ask yourself. Once you do, you may find that you need to tweak a couple things in your life or on your goal sheet before moving forward. It will prevent wasted time and energy and give you solid footing for the challenges ahead.
